An SUV struck and seriously injured a 15-year old boy on Wednesday night in Vancouver, Washington near the intersection of SE 167th Avenue and SE 20th Street.
His injuries included fractures to the neck and leg and a head injury.
Hopefully the culprit voluntarily comes forward or is found. This young man may well have a claim under any Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist auto insurance policy held by his family. Hit-and-run victims should immediately report accidents and injuries to their own insurance companies–many policies require such reporting within 48 hours of the accident.
